Create new dance courses with the Create Course Assistant.
Click the magnifying glass icon at the top right. Search for Create Course Assistant and select the assistant. To do this, enter the search term directly into the search field; an incomplete entry is sufficient.
Select whether you want to copy course details, course dates, and/or registrations from an existing course.
- Enable copying: Activate the toggle by sliding it to the right. The toggle will turn green.
- Select source course: Choose the course from which the data should be copied in the dropdown list. For a quick search, for example, enter the first letters of the desired course directly into the field. Afterwards, only courses matching the search criteria will be displayed.
- Next: Click the Next button at the bottom right to proceed to the Details step.
- Enter the desired course details in the Details step. Then click the Next button at the bottom right.
- If you did not select a lesson in the Details step, you can enter the from/to time in the Lesson step. Then click the Next button at the bottom right.
In the Dates step, select the desired course dates.
If you selected data from an existing course under Copy in step 1:
In this case, you can only select data from the displayed course dates of the previous course.
Use the arrow buttons between the two fields to move data from the right field to the left and vice versa. The course dates that remain in the right field at the end will be adopted for the new course.
If you did not select data from an existing course under Copy in step 1:
Specify the date range under Show dates from/to for which data should be displayed for selection. Then select the desired weekday under Show dates for weekday and the desired number of dates under Show number of dates.
Press the Tab key to move to the next field so that the displayed data is updated.
Use the arrow buttons between the two fields to move data from the right field to the left and vice versa. The course dates that remain in the right field at the end will be adopted for the new course.
The number of dates to be saved can be overridden. Example: For a circuit/hobby club, you want to create a confirmation or invoice for the next 8 dates, although a total of 50 dates are available. In this case, only show 8 dates.
Then click the Next button at the bottom right.Note
If no data is displayed, there may be no availabilities recorded for this course time in the chosen room.
- In the Registrations step, select the registrations that should be copied from the course selected under Copy Registrations in step 1 to the new course.
Use the arrow buttons between the two fields to move registrations from the right field to the left and vice versa. The registrations that remain in the right field at the end will be adopted for the new course.
Within the Create Course Assistant, only registrations already present in the course selected in step 1 can be copied. New registrations must be entered separately after creating the course.
Activate the Default Registration Status toggle at the bottom of the page if the default registration status stored in your database should be applied to all selected registrations. Slide the toggle to the right; it will turn green.
If the Default Registration Status toggle remains deactivated, the registration status from the previous course will be adopted for each selected registration, for example, Substitute.
Then click the Next button at the bottom right.
- You can use the Previous button at any time to return to the previous step.
To complete the assistant and save the data, click Done.
